Rick
Denzien - He's of the most heavily downloaded artists on MP3.com. He
runs his own label, Slot 1 Entertainment, Inc. He produces, he sings,
he plays guitar, he writes, and he does everything well. Rick's songs
give us a glimpse into the world as he sees it, complete with his ability
to concisely point out the inconsistencies of modern living and relationships.
Listen for yourself and see why over 100,000 folks have downloaded Desperation.

Major
Figgas - Recently signed to RuffNation/Warner Brothers Records, Major
Figgas are on the forefront of a new hip hop horizon coming out of Philly.
This seven member group features leader Gillie da Kid, Dutch, Spade,
Bianca, Bumpie, Ab Liva, and the unforgettable Rolx. Each of the members
brings a different style and taste to the proceedings, but they all
have one thing in common, charisma. The video for the song "Yeah That's
Us" has been added to The Box and BET, and the full-length CD drops
later this summer. Producers like T.L. and Ruggedness add their special
blend to the mix. No doubt this is going to blow up, you heard it here
first!

Ram
Squad - Led by Tommy Hill and Boy Backs, this hip hop crew hails from
one of Philly's toughest neighborhoods, the Richard Allen Housing projects.
Despite the rough surroundings, they sure learned marketing at an early
age. Their first two self-produced indie releases sold nearly 30,000
units! Now signed to Universal Music Group, Ram Squad is about to be
unleashed upon the nation. They've also made their own independent movie,
"Bank Roll Fire Part II", which serves as an autobiography for the group.
Philly based production company Team Platinum Bound provided top level
talents Jae Staxx and Ruggedness for many of the tracks for the major
label debut. Other featured producers are Knobody, (Big Pun), Minnesota
(Lord Tariq & Peter Gunz), and Qur'an Goodman (Method Man & D'Angelo,
Slick Rick & Nas, Charlie Baltimore, 50 Cent, Sporty Thiev$, Ali Vegas,
Kobe Bryant). A 10 city promo tour starts at the end of June, and if
things develop the way they did in Philly, Ram Squad will be all over
the airwaves by Fall.
